ON THE DAY

Ceremony begins at 4

(There will be guards on the main gates to greet guests from 3:20
- they have a copy of the guest list - so you dont need to bring your invitation. They will also escort you to willow island so there is no chance of getting lost)

After the ceremony - you will have some free time to wander around the zoo (all to ourselves, as it closes at 5). Please stick around for a group shot before you head off.
(ladies - you might like to bring some jandals)

Drinks will be available at the Old Elephant House from 6

Reception begins at 6:30

Dinner then speeches
.......dessert and dancing......

Here are some helpful hints on booking accomodation for our wedding.

Remember it is Easter weekend, so you may need to get in quick-ish

Good areas to stay would be:
Western Springs, Auckland CBD, Herne Bay, Westmere, Ponsonby, Mt Eden, Balmoral, Point Chevalier, St Lukes, Grey Lynn, Kingsland

(Because of the central location - any of the major hotels would be around a $15-20 taxi fare).

Where to go

As you know, the venue for our wedding is at the Auckland Zoo
Auckland Zoo is on Motions Rd, in Western Springs

PARKING - obviously there is the zoo car park - but as this could be busy with weekend punters - there is another car park just down the road (next to Western Springs College). There is a walkway leading up to the main entrance - and its actually just as close as the main car park.
